ow man, that track... :)
one of the best summers I had was when this baby just got released,
and on my first (real) party I remember headbanging on this like crazy,
getting my 1st kiss,
then telling my 1st GF all about their older albums ("So Wat'Cha Want", "Fight For Your Right", "No Sleep Till Brooklyn",...),
straight from the start I was already boring my women with my music talk...  8-)

god, I really miss the Beastie Boys in hip-hop.
They were such a funny anti-dote to the current mainstream shit of the last 2 decades...

I was 16 years old when me and some friends covered this track on the "free stage" of our high school.
I was the singer, and the drummer and bass player were so stupid they started playing the chorus too soon,
me and the guitarist looked at each other, and I was so pissed at them I threw my mic stand away to the back (nearly missed the drummer),
everyone thought it was part of the act and ow so cool...

3 weeks later it was our schoolfest, and we were kindly asked to play another song,
cause this was considered too rude.
This was like 1995 or something ffs... :D

man, I wasted 2,5 years of my life working and living in Mainz,
what a truely depressing city, I swear.
I came from a city that had 30.000 students and a very active nightlife...
Mainz had 20.000 students (or so I was told), and I barely saw 7 of them, I think...
And apart from the 50 Grad, which was still only the best amongst the worst, there was nothing there to do at all...

Well... all day long I had the absolute "pleasure" of helping my best friend installing a new terrace.
He has a tendency to ask me for help whenever he has some impossible task to do.
Only 15 tiles, but each one of them weighed 140 kilo's a piece...

Anyway, during the day I was thinking about the Brexit, and this track popped up in my head spontaniously...
and yeah, not the original British version, but the way more harder US cover...

it's pretty funny to see how many tracks have really appropriate or at least semi-appropriate lyrics for this whole stupid brexit thing...

You think there are at least a few songs that symbolize the UK's totally heroïc loss from Iceland in the EK ???
(and I don't even follow football at all, haven't seen a single game till now)
