Re: New members say hello...
Hi There, just wanted to introduce myself
I am from Saarbrücken in Germany and I've been making music of sorts for a few years now.
In the last 2 the focus is mostly on techno and ambient stuff.
For the longest time i have been using trackers to produce (Renoise, Sunvox, LSDJ)
but recently I,ve been getting into hardware more.
Since there is a great scene where I live, considering it's a pretty small city,
my influences are mostly people who allready play in a little club right next to where I live.
So I'm really looking forward to get some new input from you guys.
My soundcloud is mess to be honest. and doesn't really reflekt what I do
but that's mainly because I suck at finishing stuff.
https://soundcloud.com/schegges
Thanks in advance for all the advice I will propably get here and have a nice day.

I hope i'll get there soon...for now the project of the moment is how to create nice dark & noisy ambient drones with the octatrackHades wrote:yeah I listened to that track, it was way at the bottom of your SC page

Just a quick hello, been doing some producing for some time now, moved from house to techno over the years, and got a lot more serious about it the last 2 years. i manage to make quite decent techno vinyl mixes by now (and had the oportunity to do so in a club in my hometown hamburg once so far) , got myself a nice starter setup OTB over the last year & aim to put out quality stuff asap, hope this nice little place has some inspiration from time to time cheers
any tracks apart from DJ sets ?
https://soundcloud.com/haikonahm/lusthus
since then my taste completly changend from smallville'esk house to techno, and i spent some time learning the propper techno-vinyl-mixing skills (not because i think it must be that way, just because i wanted to & i think it's more fun for me )....i also wanted to go completly out of the box, so spent the whole of 2015 saving for them little boxes (no modular --- so far ) & actually started 2 weeks ago trying to produce techno with it..quit challenging to do everything live but i have a feeling its gona be my thing & a lot of fun...i try to go in a developer/tensal etc kinda direction but who knows where it will end...when i have something good enough i will post it here for expert opinions

Hi all, I’ve been lurking for a while now so thought I’d sign up and say hello.
I’m from Nottingham in the UK and have been producing on and off over the last 5 years or so. It’s only up until recently that I’ve started putting more time into it and this place has been massively helpful. My tastes have varied over the years but I’ve always been a Techno man but not ashamed to admit liking Tech house (the chunkier side). Favourite producers are the likes of Gary Beck, Mark Broom, Spektre, Steve Mulder, D-Unity, Reset Robot (the list goes on and does include more Bumload artists – sorry! ha).
Hoping to find more useful tips on this place with my aim to try and get out of “loop-ville” and actually finish tracks!

Hi everyone,
I live in France, i've been messing with knobs and records for 2 years more or less. I like a wide range of electronic music from moody's deep house to harder techno (mord/earwiggle type stuff), and of course the acid sound. I curently use a mc303 (slowly dying), a mb33 retro and a MPC500 (which i'm not using these days, the power adaptor isn't working anymore).
I hope i'll find here some nice tips, and learn more about the music we all love.

Welcome on board mate. Just force yourself to finish tracks even if you are not happy with the end result. If you repeat the process you'll get better and happier with the results each time.Schegges wrote:Hi There, just wanted to introduce myself

Welcome, loopville is a tough avenue to break out of, I believe once your out though your out, try to finish or at least sketch out a 3 min arrangement for every project.Mslwte wrote:Elixir wrote:Hi all, I’ve been lurking for a while now so thought I’d sign up and say hello.

Hi all..
First of all i want to say how happy i am finding because of this (still active) full of goldmine forum.
I'm from Croatia and i've been using Ableton for around 6 months now so i'm sort of begginer in production.
Looking forward to discuss with you about everything about production
I dont have soundcloud but i will probably make one in a few days.

welcome mr zukenbauer !
we can be cruel as fuck,
and me, myself and I can just type on endless posts forever.
(I'm most likely the reason people invented wheel mouses tbh)
but we are always honest here,
and we are very passionate about techno.
and most of us work with Live as well.
if this feels like a place for you to be, I'm pretty sure you'll love it here !

Hello from Sweden
Living in the captical Stockholm and been a music enthusiast as long as I can remember. I started out as a DJ back at the end of the 90s and later developed a interest of producing music.
My childhood friends-friend worked at Propellerheads so I got a free copy of Reason 3.0 and the rest is history. I never tried to live on music, but kept it at a hobby level.
I have mostly been focused on Hard dance music like Hardstyle and Hardcore but later turned to techno music, mostly Hardgroove Techno.
Have currently a weekly show on di.fm/hardtechno where I play an hour.
Joined this forum cause of the great threads, feedback and attitude from the member, and I am looking forward to be more part with the forum.
