I'm really quite impressed.

The only thing was that the click of the kick stood out too much, and once I noticed it, I couldn't stop noticing it.

Other than that, I really really like this. Top top stuff. The incidentals, everything.

thanks mattie! really appreciate your support. yes, i love dark ambient, although never wanted to go strictly that way. i prefer to combine dark textures with strong beat sounds (this was always the idea of krypt), making some kind of hybrid that provides great listening experience, but also works in a club.

(i stopped noticing the click after about 30 seconds btw, but it is noticeable)

well, its never perfect. without the click the kick would be indistinct or fuzzy or muddy or whatever. with click its to clicking. i prefer the way with clicking because it has its place in the mix. i can eq it (and in fact i did), but then kick lost its 'high definition' fidelity. i like jordans tracks, too (my criciticism is only to provide constructive feedback so that they will be even better).

I really like this. Smooth mix without any harsh head-achey frequencies. Makes for easy listening. Beautiful atmospheres. Really feels like the track is breathing.

I don't like the kick either but I assure you that it is purely personal taste. I've had an aversion to overly clicky kick sounds since hearing 'Tension' by Porc, which I thought would have been a great track if not for the horrible click kick.
