If you haven't checked it already, give the Darkside - Psychic album a listen. He's not playing it obviously, but there is some Gilmouresque guitar action going on in there, especially in Paper Trails and The Only Shrine I've Ever Seen.

Not sure why, but i love the sound of the electric guitar and it's effects. Gilmour's sound is a fine work of art if you ask me (same goes for the organ/poly parts from Rick Wright).

When it comes to techno, filter/cutoff/resonance sequenced (don´t know what it is exactly but I achieved a similar kind of sound with just using filters and its resonance itself, and filter-fm...
