Made in precisely 40 minutes techno track

Had 40 minutes to spare, decided to make a techno track for a change.

Always a pleasure to listen to your work. But, the whole overdrive sound, that was on purpose? It seems that there is a big fight going in in the whole spectrum of the different sounds

Every single channel of my little Boss mixer is showing red warning lights almost constantly. So yeah, there's a bit of overdrive in there. Maybe I got a little carried away...

Hahaha, alright, that explains it. Still, you keep coming with new tracks every time...wish i had that amount of inspiration!

I dunno about that inspiration. It's more like an assembly line, where techno is manufactured with a tempo set by a pounding kick drum.

Proper Detroit spirit I think! They make automobiles in their factories, I make techno in my little factory.

Seriously though. Working with (very limited) hardware and having a recorder always ready just means that tunes keep coming out. There's no finetuning that can easily take ages, I just make a simple loop, turn on the recorder, jam for 5+ minutes and call it a track. It''s a wonderful workflow, when you got the right gear for it.

The only thing that really stood out to me is that airy pad at the beginning which has almost no mono compatibility.

Really nice track, though! The distortion doesn't kill it for me. I like.

I was using the Octatrack's stereo widening effect on it. It's possible it'll disappear in mono, I should check it out.

Spent a bit more time on it, no idea if it's any better now. The distortion is a bit toned down now at least. Arrangement could be better.
