Korg Electribe EM1 - Question
Korg Electribe EM1 - Question
Hi, does anyone here have one? Can't remember.
I'd like to know if the samples all have a slapback delay effect on them by default, or can it be switched off?
The more I look at these the more I want one.
A chap running through the sounds one by one by one by one by one.. but you'll get the thing about the slapback delay or verb (?) on the sounds. Think its a delay.

Cool display of its flavour..

Looked at the specs. It has a global delay effect. Also 11 insert effects to choose from among them distortion and something called decimator...
So I guess I just cost you $200.
I haven't owned this specific machine. ER1 ...under rated series of machines.

I've got one. Its a pretty sweet drum synth, and can make some groovey grooves, etcetera.ICN wrote:Drums, yeah?

Re: Korg Electribe EM1 - Question
I used to have an ER1. The EM1 is the mix of ER1 and EA1 right?
I remember there were global effects and individuals, so maybe he has a global effect on in the video.
All nice little machines, though the pots wobble like motherfuckers. They feel really fragile, but mine never broke and it got gigged heavily back in my squat rave days.
Lots of fun to play with, you do need to really know them before you will make anything useful sound-wise, but any good synth is like that really.
The second series are worth a punt too.
