Second pair of ears / Person(s) with monitors wanted

I have some tracks im finishing up/mixing down but I don't have monitors here at the moment, so im looking for someone who does who would be able to give 3 tracks a listen and tell me if there is any glaring errors in terms of levels and whatnot that my headphones may be missing or that are highlighted much better by monitors.

If anyone is willing to do this it would be much appreciated, I am not asking you to mixdown my tracks, just to listen for anything obvious that I may have missed as I have never been without monitors for reference before.

I guess if you like the tracks I would be happy to send them once finished, or perhaps offer a second pair of ears to yours when I have my monitors here.

I like most of your work, so would be happy to give some feedback if you want to pm me a link to the files or something. Partially because I want to hear the tracks, partially to help me develop my listening.

As you mention mixdown, were you thinking of sending projects? That wont work for me, because I think you're a PC Ableton guy, and I use logic 9 on a mac.

No ill just be sending the wav's. One of them is your remix Mixdown feedback is all I want, nothing on structure or ideas etc, just whether parts are sitting well. Ill try send tomorrow as I want to give the tracks to some DJ's on Sunday.

firstly ive only listened to these in itunes so no spectrum analyser etc, just gone by my ears and not referenced them against any other tracks.

well impressed by the space in the mix on all the tracks and i like what you have done with style and arrangement.

one thing i think across all the tracks is that the bottom end/kick isn't loud enough in the mix, all the frequencies and eq is in the right place but they are not banging through as much as i think they could be. but if you told me that is exactly how is was intended then youve got it just right. possibly the hat in both i1 (and delay) and i2 is a bit high in the mix but everything hass been eq'd really well! personally ive not heard much about that sounds like these so fair play

as premasters they are decent! i think if you send these to voidloss to master they would come back as beasts on a club soundsystem

Thanks for listening mate. About the bass that's what Willem said also, I guess these headphones must have a slightly bloated low end making everything seem a bit bassier than it is, regardless it's been seen to! Will check out the hats and send you the finished versions in case you're interested

No worries mate. I've just tried to be honest about it. The hats are probably ok and more a personal point I view.
