Acid Techno
Acid Techno
Hey all I made a new song the other day and would love some feedback on it
Re: Acid Techno
Not sure about the lead sound, i would try something deeper/thinner.. I would work on more variation in the rhythm and progression.
I know techno is known as kinda repetitive, but i was finding myself skipping forward and it all sounded the same thing... try and play with small movement in the background and some fx.
Good luck!

No Bass Lines For Me!
Re: Acid Techno
Cheers for the feedback man, i'll go back to work on it by adding more FX behind the mix and try add more automation on the synths for movement

Re: Acid Techno
Yeah. I would say it is very dry but its not something I would fix at this point. You need to sort the arrangement and direction first.

Re: Acid Techno
like the track, a few notes:
i like the idea of automating that acid line
really like the ear piercing droney stabby sound that comes in (FM?) feels like it would be awesome if it was sent into a blackhole of delicious reverb getting tripped out in the break and slowly brought back to reality and decrease the decay so its a bit of a soft stabby quality and sparse before the kick comes back in to give that part more of an energetic push and then maybe bring it back in at the next break for some all out mayhem or something like that
that delayed drum in the beginning could have its level turned down a bit to sit it in the mix a bit better, will still have most of the presence but will feel more balanced.
might be able to work in a more sparse and accented acid line to compliment the main one
possible use of filter automation on the bass and or kick could sound cool and mix things up/less monotonous
yea just some ideas that came to mind while listening, like where the track is heading. props
