Thousand Atoms

Hi !

New one called thousand atoms.
Dense techno track with industrial moments and heaviness in general.

Used Ableton 9 with built in plugs and also the fabfilter suite (volcano, pro-L). Drums came from Nepheton and the mighty Drumazon?
A bit of sampling too and a lot of processing.

Nice track, I like it. Lots of sidechain going on by the sounds of it.

Eheh you noticed it. I had too side chain others things than the kick/bass couple as the track sounds really thick at times. Just a way to avoid mess.

The second drop really picks up good groove and bouncy drums through out, and yeah sidechain all the way good stuff!

Nice sound, thanks for the heads up on what was used.I would also consider some edits on the rhythm from .30 to 3.30 and after the drop to draw the listeners attention further into the groove as it moves.May or may not be what you are hoping to achieve but food for thought at least.

usually when i hear heavily sidechained dancey tracks i tend to roll my eyes. but this is is really nicely done, you have proven to me that this pumping sound can in fact sound solid without the added cheesiness.

Really cool track, makes you wanna dance like "Techno Viking"...but mattie is right about the period betwenn .30 and 3.30. Just a little variation like programming another clap shortly after the other or fading a 1/8 note delay in from time to time (also on the clap channel) would be cool in order to increase the tension until the break... Cheers!

Yep, resonator is great for enhancing melodic content (+ harmonics) of everything.
