Well the box in the second picture just rapes things. IT`s a self oscillating rind mod fuzz/distortion. It`s pure fuck.
The Thing in the first pic with lots of knobs is a matrix mixer, so it doesn`t sound of anything (unless you use it to generate no input loops) but it facilitates insane feedback loops.

I actually have a modded wasp filter clone in my set up now, it`s lovely. Add that to the chain with the murder box and things get sherman-ey

Pretty easy, you can just do point to point, you don`t even need a board really.

I could probably put one together for you if it is intimidating. I could throw one in to an alu box, you choose the knobs etc.
