How can a DJ work more than one booking agency?

Post by Monreal »

When an agency gets a request do they call the artist's other agency and ask if the guy is free that evening? How do these things work out?

Many agencies are working by territory and often have good connection with others in another territory. Or they check with the DJ.

Why?

If people have more than one agency, generally one does europe and the other does america etc.

I would only sign exclusive if the terms are really good. If you don't sign for an exclusive deal, you can sign with more agencies.
