90ies techno / breakbeat / rave sample CD's...

Post by Andre_Crom »

Hi guys,

did some research towards "the best sample CD's from the 90ies for techno, rave, breatbeat samples". Here are some of people's favourites (if you want to add your own, please do so!)

Did some google-ing but did not find any downloads to the below. If any of you could help it'd be great. (about the copyrights, i am only posting CD's here that are not on sale anymore, most of the creator companies don't exist anymore, and most of them consisted of uncleared samples themselves, so let's not start to argue on that)

Gota Yashiki
Jam Box Elements
Datafile Vol 1
Snythmania Polestar
Black II Black
XX Large
polestar magnetix xl1
State Of The Art 1

Thx in advance!

A.

Hi Mattias,

am afraid i don't have any old packs, not to speak of a hardware sampler... guess a lot of people including me would be grateful if you felt inclined to share any of your treasures with us ;)

I've got Datafile 1 saved on my harddrive. Could try to sort something out over next few days.

Ended up with quite a few of these through lots of gear swaps and purchases here and there.

Knocking around, I think I have:

XTC Files OF Techno
XTC Files OF Jungle

Datafile 1,2&3

Dance Mega Rave ( or something like that )

That's off my head, not at home until the weekend so can't remember much else, most are in AKAI format I think

I assume this could apply to mac, im on pc but what i do is mount the file with Daemon tools lite, then I use a program called CDXtract to either save to .wav or Aiff, or just the whole program file for say Kontajt or Ableton Sampler

Tried it, for some reason Daemon tools doesn't want to mount mdx files on Mac...

Yup. At least it used to. I don't work with Kontakt any more these days (I said good-bye to it along with Cubase plenty of years ago). Can't imagine they changed the support for akai format though.
