Mixes you are enjoying

Post by Stace »

Easy guys,

Sorrrrrrrry if a thread dedicated to this already exists.

What mixes have you been enjoying of late?? There is SO much I know I am missing out there as there is no possible way you can keep on top of it *all*

My 2 favourites in more recent months are these 2;

Thanks for the suggestions, should make work a bit more interesting next week.

Here's a Jamie Anderson mix from a couple of years ago that covers a lot of territory. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it was pretty decent.

Tequila, cinnamon shots, almond milk.
Its a boozy horchata and it really takes the edge off the day.
I really enjoy it.

I very rarely listen to mixes tbh.

I was craving a vegan equivalent of Advocaat today :( There isn't one :(

vegan Advocaat recipe

300 ml rice milk
150ml rice cream (or any vegan cream)
40g custard powder,
40 grams of cane sugar
100ml rum
½ tablespoon vanilla essence

Mix rice milk and cream. Heat custard powder and cane sugar in a saucepan with 50 ml of rice milk/cream mixture and stir with a wooden spatula to a paste and until all lumps are gone.
Add the remaining rice milk mixture and stir.
Reduce heat and stir until smooth with with whisk and let cook for 3 minutes, stirring with whisk.
Turn heat off. Pour in rum and stir with whisk.
Put in a bowl and let cool.
Put in the refrigerator to get cold. Stir when it is cold again with the whisk, add the vanilla essence if you feel it is needed.
Pour and drink and be happy.

That sounds ridiculously nice. I am going to get on that ASAP :D

Thank you!

Did you find that online? I have looked a couple of time and I have never been able to find anything for it.

Nice, always enjoy Ancient Methods.
Will check this SC page too.
Don't think I landed on it before...

My days of searching for new stuff seems to have slowed to a hopeless crawl for ages.

This is really good. There are others from the same weekend which are decent too, but this Robert Hood mix is something else...

Man, Robert Hood's a genius. A perfect blend of techno, house, soul, gospel, disco.

I know, searching for mixes has become a bit of a ball ache.

I usually find Ancient Methods and Lakker's are always good in different ways.
