Actually listened today.

That main hi hat is too much, a little too spikey in the tops and too loud in the mix, it throws out the groove, everything is nice when it`s not in the mix. Other than that one glaring mix problem, this all sounds really nice.

I don't hate this kind of techno. I just don't like it when this style gets laid out for 5 hours in a mix. But in the end the deep stuff is my preferred direction of techno in terms of sound design.

The only techno I hate is the über-distorted wannabe industrial sound. Ansome/MORD,newer Surgeon stuff.

Thank you for the info on the hats. I can't change the mix though as I just recorded the jam session and didn't saved the project. Have to remind myself of Mattias advice to pull back the hats a bit even if they sound right for the moment.

It`s easy to overcook the top end when you mix all in one session, your ears get tired.
