Symmetry

Post by TomasHD »

Hi, Its been a while since I finished something decent and solid.
I would like to hear your opinion on this track, I wanted to create a club oriented techno track, with hypnotic elements and with some sort of mental atmosphere.
I was basically inspired by the sounds from voices from the lake, mulero, snts, avian, etc.

I made all the sounds myself, using a minimum of elements, but obviously trying to give each of them their space.

yeah
wicked impulsive techno !
i totally accept on this track that it'll be no changes with the main part (lead sound)
except of the hats percussions n stuff ..but I'm sure that was you're intention right ?!
peak time banger dude

Thanks a lot for your good comments. It means a lot. Really glad you liked it

What do you suggest with the hats and percs? Its quite a basic groove
Cheers

The kick feels like it could use more lowend, it doesn't really come through the bass rumble and feels like it's sitting on top rather than really punching through like it should in a track like this.

You should probably kill the drone-y lead in various parts of the track (first 30 sec, last 30 sec, after the breakdown maybe? etc.), running through it's a bit much.

ii mean that the percussion and hihats make the impulsive part .they are matched well and they fit well together.
they make it interesting . thats good tho .its like a basic groove you're right, but thats exactly what that track need.

Yeah, you are right. I already add more low end to it, and made some automations. Thanks a lot

For me the materials are all great like everyone is saying, it's very loud, but maybe it needs some more changeup in the energy, the filter on the main synth is pretty wide open most of the time, maybe bring it way down at some point and build that energy back up again to make a complete track out of it.

This is wonderful!!! I like this type of techno....really hypnotic modular yet banging. The aggressiveness of the track is nice but easy on the lead its overwhelming sometimes....try to bring it down then build it up

What can I say? Great stuff.

Can't really offer any criticism on the production at all.

Just on thing, is the lead too loud in the mix?

Wow, not too shabby. Sounds wicked over here. If you wanted to get into the Pole Group/Reeko ballpark i can say you pretty much nailed it. Would play that track.

Thanks mate, It means a lot coming from producers like you. I think it still needs some tweaking, I love that label It was definitely an influence

wicked track - really dig it! forward-orientated, seething atmosphere, and well mixed!
here and there i miss subtle fx, a little extremer panning, and a bit finetuning in the effecting - but i'm sure 'Symmetry' has some impact on the floor :)

Good track and progression!
I think this would be efficient on a dancefloor.

Absolute belter mate. Heavy as fuck. Proper dancerfloor weapon. Can't hear anything at all I don't like about it, destroyer.

:D
