Some people love basic:)
Really nice and clean track, nice mix
Just wondering, that dubby synth, is it just one playing all the time or did you stack 2 similar?

This one is sounding really good dubdub, nice groove, rich sounds, i like it a lot

Maybe the tape hiss could more movement but idk if it really needs that, good work

Cheers guys :)

It's just one synth track. I might would have used more but as usual I was already close to maxing out the CPU of my shit PC from all the fx :)

Instantly feels good, but the hiss is to much if you ask me.

Agreed on the hiss, maybe sidechaining it could help it meld into the track a little more. Ok now it seems to be getting louder, definitely turn it down a bit. Or at l;east turn down the highs on it.

Track is sounding good, altho personally I'd say it's a bit too vanilla. I can imagine some synthetic brass-like stabs/melodies floating over this, I think that'd work well to give it some more character.
how far do you want to go

this is great!

hiss is ok . i have made tracks with more hiss than this! but maybe for the style sidechain or notchfilter/phase a bit to give some movement

Cheers guys. I've tried adding more stuff but it just destroyed the nice mix I had going where everything is big enough, i'm not good enough to just add a bunch of shit :)

I should try the sidechaining trick, I never really sidechain anything except for the kick and bass sometimes.

I think it's a good track.

The tape noise/hiss is just too much for me, it takes up too much room in terms of volume and frequencies. I'd high pass it more, and process it so it's more vinyl crackly. As it stands now, a lot of my listening is focussed on the hiss as opposed to the music. It's just too much in the foreground.

Yeah that hiss is not really adding anything, it doesn`t feel dynamic in the mix at all, kinda fake-added-hiss...

But other than all the masking caused by that this is solid dubby stuff, a little anonymous sounding.

Cheers guys. I like my hiss, i'll try to work on making it more dynamic though :P

I wouldn't disagree with it sounding a bit generic but this kinda stuff is nice as a production/sound design exercise.

maybe just EQ the hiss a little, it`s digging a little low in to the mids

Hey man great tune, I really love it. I think you could add some movement to the noise, it lends it self for some nice modulation and or subtle sidechaning. Also i might lower the volume of the noise a bit so that the track can open up a bit.

The dub stabs are really nice, maybe you could duplicate them and throw them down a few notes so add some beef, only subtlely though so down the volume a fair bit of the additional layer.

Kick is awesome, deep and punchy, percussion is on spot too, though the clap might benefit from some more presence.

Keep at it!

This is a nice track. The hiss is a bit too loud.. Lower the volume and it will become more pleasant to hear.
I like the synth melodies, but it starts to slightly bore me, after listening to 3 or 4 minutes.
The drums helps keeping the energy. This is a track that would be good to listen while on the beach!

Keep up!

The hiss sounds like some plugin is saying: hey I am demo, buy me:) But nonetheless I would dance to it, and hey that means something:)

Sounds really really good!

I love hiss/white noise a lot and there could even be more of it buuuuuut... it needs more movement.
Ohhh wait... I'm not the first who wrote that.
