DJ PA
DJ PA
Iam looking for a new system for my DJ room. atm i have some crappy passive fullrange speakers without sub.
I would like a small active PA with 2 Fullrange speakers & sub or a passive set (i have a powermixer)
Active PA Set would have the benefit that i could take it easily to another room without needing the powermixer
What are your experiences / recommendations?
iam overwhelmed by the choice and all the brands.
budget max 2000 Euro,-

Re: DJ PA
I've got my Djmixer running into a bose soundlink mini, no joke ..after having it running through my mixing monitors that were too far away I wanted to have a more direct sound when DJing and preparing sets. So I'm using a little wall-mount and now I've got my DJ monitor right in front of my head. That's all I need. I'd say there's no need for any kind of special speakers for DJing or do you want to do more than preparing sets at home?

Re: DJ PA
If you are UK based I might be able to sort out a deal on void acoustic DJ monitors.
Re: DJ PA
thx for your replys!
i should have clarified that it can be and should be loud.
i mean not over the top, but definitely louder than living room monitoring
i have this bunker room and noone hears me there. its also quite big so i could have a real PA there.
Not really interested in monitors, or are there good fullrange ones that can really fill the whole space with sound?
sometimes i have friends there to so it would not be purely to monitor one spot only
but thanks for the offer void.
those void speakers seem to be topnotch

Re: DJ PA
My old soundsystem partner runs a big sound system company and is a official Void Acoustics dealer. He also usually has tons of used gear. He can deal at trade prices.PERIAL wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:45 pmwhich ones exactly do you mean that could fit into 2k budget?Lost to the Void wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:51 pmIf you are UK based I might be able to sort out a deal on void acoustic DJ monitors.
Until I ask him I have no idea which would fit the budget.
