Aye.. seen this last night before I got the hat (edit: hit the hay). Interesting features for sure.

However.. I was far more excited when I saw this.

I find it hard to muster any enthusiasm for another semi-modular analogue mono, if I'm honest.

Just thought the combo of the keypad & mod was very cool.

Need to hear some more, less EDM Style sounds with the microfreak

This looks interesting, although i'd be more interested in a mini rather than micro version. I am not sure what I am missing but it seems kind of small. I do like the digital oscillators they mention in combination with analogue filters and modulation...

I find this one interesting, from the keyboard to the architecture not to mention the looks. It's not Mono either as it has 4 voice paraphony...

My hat goes off to Arturia (apart from their handling of the “collaboration” with Mutable which didn't sound anything of the sort).

Well if you're patient, they mentioned a 'freak' line somewhere, so there could be another couple/few products similar.

Meant to post btw.. that sonicstate vid was very good. Looks like a cool synth. Lots of range.

Mods appear interesting w.that keyboard.

Yea, using the Plaids open source code and then putting it across as a direct collaboration with MI is a bad look. Think they took down all references to a collab from their site now.

Some direct info from MI for anyone interested: https://forum.mutable-instruments.net/t ... k/14878/13

All that aside I look forward to more demos of this wee thing!

Here’s what was on their site :?

Sounds interesting.
There will probably be cries of "but it's digital brah"...
But it sounds nice. Theres a Nordish tint to the sounds.

don't mind this. jump to 9:40 in that demo and it gets interesting. exactly like step cycling through a wavetable using cv on a modular system. looks like there is alot to explore and having that sem filter at the end just rounds it out nicely. fun little unit.

Yeah, I`m in to this.
300 jib for those features, and it sounds great, I have room for this.

The more I see about this the more I'm convinced to grab one.

Nice to see something interesting instead of all the usual rehashing of 'vintage' whatever.

That mod matrix looks great, and you can use the custom destinations to modulate any knob on the front panel. Cycle through the 11 oscillators for example. This is a lot of synth for the money.
