Why did you sell this synth?
Just discovered it and would love to play with one.

its pretty cool for sure, has a lot of interesting elements. the main issue for me was that it was always firing the envelope on each step... you could sortof work around that with filter triggering but in the end another synth (that id been gas-ing for a long time) came up & i needed to offload.

So that means you have a sort of snappy sound in the sequences allways? Can you also play it without sequncer with external midi (to get longer notes)?

I love synth sequences and this one seems like a nice box to make them, gotta test it somewhere..

you can play it from external midi & that works fine...

but the real beauty of this synth is the incorporation of the internal filter/fx sequencer and the note sequencer (whether internal or external). you can get some really interesting rhythms and variations.

when you are running the internal seq then it fires every 16th note. may not be an issue for some, i found it didnt suit my needs

Iam kinda torn between this and a dominion1.
I was in a big music shop yesterday, but i could only try the dominion because the impulse has no headphone out.
I think the dominion is more versatile for sure as it has more mod sources, oscilators etc but the impulse seems like a real special quirky little box with that extra flavour you dont get anywhere else..

from my perspective the dom1 slays the IC but ymmv
