So how do we feel about murdering the bass

I bought it and decided not to give a shit, but the reference is like a waffle iron to the face.
Are we still not supposed to talk about dumbcode? Ive been away for a while.

In a general defence of Egbert, i still think 'Strak' and 'Groots Uitpakken' are some of the best techno tracks in the last 7 years.

Is this a Bumload confessional thread?

If so I like the new Dense & Pika release. Not what I'd class as techno but it's devoid of white noise risers.

I'll treat it as guuuuuuilty pleasure thread. :D

This... White noise raiser, and bass.

When discovrd it... It seemed like something very fresh (as I'm pretty far from that kind of Tech-no), then I realized where it gets you to (similar artist-wise) and knew I don't go further that way than tath:

I like how they call themselves "techno’s number one label" in their own video description.

I like Chris Spero's house productions as Glimpse too. I like to think as D&P as producers that happen to be on Bumload rather than artists specifically recording for the label. #denial.

I liked Code Red sort of in the 90s. Does that count?

It is. Occasionally there are some nice tracks even on the pop-techno labels every now and then.

the track is shit. its a very poor effort at a remix, and if not a remix, its just a poor effort at making a track. i liked the original even though it was on the more commercial end of "techno"

Lots of bits of Code Red (and Bumload) were ace back in the day. Someone posted a great example in the Classics forum a little while ago.
