Thomann are better than MS in that regard.

On average.. they'll give you 5euros for a couple of reviews on small items you've bought, such as leads etc.. and between 5 or 10 for a review on a box or similar.

Do they? Shows how much attention I pay.
Although with musicstore, (who now own dv247) I can go to their big warehouse.

I found out last month I live right near 2 of the UK's largest music stores.
DV247 and PMT east London. Massive warehouses of joy.
Very very dangerous.

Had no idea they did this, interesting. I've had nothing but great experiences with Thomann. Excellent customer service, fast delivery. Can't say the same about woodbrass though, there's one right next to where I live in Paris, shitty staff, bad advice. Last time I was there the guy was recommending KRK's as a good and flat monitoring solution.

Biggest what the fuck moment was the following : I purchased a Heat and a Push 2, came back a month later to buy some cables and they asked me to stay in the shop when I wanted to leave, and they told me there was an error and I payed 350 euros less than I had to for my Push and Heat purchase. Straight up told them that I payed the right price, and even if they did fuckup that's their problem not mine. They told me it could go really far with police and court (lol ?) Just told them to send me the cops and left.

One time I bought a mixer they sent 2 and asked me to bring the other to the store back. I mean I don't want to keep it but I don't really like losing time to bring your shit back.

Aye. Agree.

The last few years, Im always using Thomann.

That review voucher system is finished, which is a big shame.. they obviously got their genuine review quota. They're usually cheaper & can't say I've had issues with anything. Ever. I've sent stuff back lots of times within 30days, no questions asked. Also had stuff repaired & swapped / substituted. No fuss.

Wow, trustpilot has a 2.7 out of 5 rating for musicstore, and that's from 7.5k reviews.

Thomann have an excellent rating. Fair play.

Seen one guy complaining about waiting for stock. Don't know what you do in that situation.. but usually they are quite clear on the site about whether something is in stock, or if there is a delay. They'll often give the wait times involved.

Dunno. I guess people leave bad reviews when they're genuinely pissed off. More people are ticked off at Musicstore it would appear. Thomann seem to have a much better website & system. It's obviously working for them. That type of investment costs money though.
