Moving to Berlin with a freelancer visa

Post by Monreal »

Anybody here (or know somebody) live in Berlin with a freelancer visa. I'd like to know their experiences.

Long story short non-EU guy willing to move to Berlin as a producer, if it's eligible for a freelance visa. I'm talking about this:

Edit: I think it's also considered as artist visa, or smt like that.

Probably yeah, it's generally a pain in the ass when your not EU, means a lot of paper work and regular visits to the Auslanderamt etc. Keep in mind (proper) health insurance is expensive here... you can get 'expat' insurance for a few years to start off but it covers fuck all.
