Re: reverb
I'm a fan of ableton's reverb. I use it on nearly every track. I've spent 5 years using it, so I know it 'quite' well.
Don't forget that the reverb is also present in some of ableton's emsemble fx patches.
I usually automate the wet/dry, the high eq, and the feedback time. You can achieve quite a bit with it if you are willing to put the time in.
Other than that I have bought the toraverb reverb, but I haven't really spent that much time getting to know it.

You really can't go wrong with Valhalla - just chose the plugin you are most interested in.Kettmpa wrote:I think i gonna buy valhalla vintagecollide wrote:I use Valhalla Room and FabFilter Pro-R.

Re: reverb
Thanks for the Valhalla info, i haven't had that on my list yet. I'll check the demo.
Does anyone have experiences with eventide blachole? Looks like it can be a lot of fun. Maybe it's more for tewaking sound than using it as a classic reverb?

Re: reverb
Yes I bought it when it was on sale half price. Its nice, very lush sounding. Valhalla are still my goto verbs.

cool, thx. and do you think it's worth it's price? what do you use it for?
Re: reverb
Blackhole is cool but it's kinda situational. It's a bigggg reverb and in my experience not very fit for adding "a little room to this hi-hat" or whatever. It works really well on synths, really makes them come alive and also as an AUX effect to drag lots of elements into. It's got a very special sound and I like it alot.Root wrote:Thanks for the Valhalla info, i haven't had that on my list yet. I'll check the demo.

that's what i expected it to be. thanks for this! so i'll go first for the valhalla and maybe someday for the blackhole.
Re: reverb
if you get Valhalla make sure you use a separate EQ cause the build in cutoffs on it isn't the greatest ... you can check for yourself, just throw an analyzer on after the reverb and you'll see a lot of it still comes thru
