Re: Recommend great/outstanding techno albums...
Let's not forget one of the most cerebral, mind-bending techno albums ever:

The only one I can think of that's "all" techno and a full album rather then just a bigger then normal EP, is Reinhard Voigt's Im Wendel der Zeit.
I remember thinking they're all pretty solid tracks, and that that was unusual for a techno album.

I'm Hilarious

There are a few standouts, but in general I want an album to have something other than a constant four on the floor midtempo kick, so the good ones end up being more than just techno.
Kassem Mosse has a couple of outstanding albums, might be a little soft for you guys though.

Here's a few more that I remembered.
Paperclip People - The Secret Tapes of Dr. Eich, I played that one from start to finish over and over again when it first came out, unfortunately don't have a copy anymore, great album though.
DJ Hell - NY Muscle, some serious and consistent attitude throughout that really gives the belters on it extra context when listening as an album
Luke Slater - Wireless, this was one of my favourite albums of any genre for a long time, still is I guess but I haven't listened in a long time as this is yet another one that I sadly don't have a copy of anymore. Also massive props for Freek Funk.
Good thread by the way - I hadn't come across that Umwelt album before, and that is seriously good shit - nice one!

Hmmm...concept albums or full albums that flow
Dino Sabatini - Shaman's Path
Black Dog - Spanners
Reload - A Collection Of Short Stories (with stories to accompany the tracks!)
Dare I say it, one of the greatest techno concept albums of them all.....
X-102 - Rings Of Saturn
Also
X-103 - Atlantis

Some are already mentioned:
Kenny Larkin - Metaphor (1995)
This is my favorite Detroit Techno album. I love every second of it.
Full of energy & soul. Perfect in every way possible.
Joey Beltram - Places (1995)
Bomb. Might be the album that made hard techno accessible for me back in 95.
Robert Hood - Internal Empire (1994)
Timeless classic.
Monolake - Gravity (2001) & Momentum (2003)
Sadly I can't get into any of the stuff he has released after Polygon_Cities.
DeepChord Presents Echospace - Liumin (2010)
I play this one during summer nights. Perfect.
Peter Van Hoesen - Entropic City (2010)
Conforce – Escapism (2011)

BCN Dub, I think? Firefly is my favorite. Those opening chords, the hazy atmospheres, the field recordings. One of my favorite tracks of all time.
