Not that track again. It's on par with 'the bells' and i can't hear it anymore.

ps. I didn't post it cause it's a fantastic track.

It was just in the news a bit and every time it's mentioned, I think of this track, which I assume is completely opposite to the film

Has anyone here been (un)fortunate to be dragged along to see it?

Nope, my missus already saw through the bullshit that it is, so no one is dragging me to see it.

I loved the Whiplash, have seen 2 times in the theaters. I have huge respect to the director but honestly not a fan of Emma Stone and the musicals in general, so I'll pass this one.

My favorite Green Velvet song is Destination Unknown:

The movie looks like a typical Hollywood mediocrity.

I absolutely HATE musicals with a passion.
But there's only 2 musicals that I really like...

I don't think I need to introduce the other one... ;)

Sweeny Todd was an enjoyable musical.
It's not often you see jolly cockney singing whilst someone is having their throat slit and blood is gushing out across the room.
It makes horrific brutal murder appear to be the fun times it really is.

All about the Floppy Sounds remix, imo. Holds a place dear in my heart due to the circumstances of the first time I heard it.

time to show my true colors... I love Jesus Christ Superstar! There's some groovy music in there. Also Tommy is fucking great.

maybe I confuse musical with rock opera too much.

JCS is a great musical (and really quite radical really for it`s time), it was quite controversial when it came out. My missus absolutely loves it, and she got me to watch it after years of pleading with me.
It`s fantastic, really camp too, and quite bizarre.

Rocky Horror is also kinda awesome.
As is Nightmare Before Christmas (which is basically a musical) which I love to bits.

a few weeks ago, we went to see JSC with the one and only Ted Neeley still rocking hard, although with a bit more crackle in his voice than 45 years ago.

anything Danny Elfman is gold. The Devin Townsend Project opera's are pretty great, too. He's the Danny Elfman of metal.
