Re: What video games are you folks playing?
Up to chapter 14 now on this, was a massive FF7 fan back on the original playstation, agree with the nostalgia bit, not sure id be into it as much without that.
my daughter got a switch for her birthday recently and i've been playing on that the odd time myself, currently playing assassins creed III remastered on it

Its still in early access but the people loving it
https://store.steampowered.com/app/8616 ... _Sim_Game/
Its more for the skateboard fan, you can tweak your tricks much more, e.g. bone the flips, and catch ... u can even do rocket kickflips like the beginner kids and the late 80s Skaters

Playstation is giving away Ratchet and Clank for the ps4 this month.
Talk about a blast from the past.

Finished Jade Empire recently, a classic i never played first time around. Love it, I`m a sucker for a fantasy/mythical martial arts scenario.
After that played an indy game Age of Barbarian, which is unpolished but lots of fun. Swords and Sorcery Conanesque Slasher Platformer. Lots of over the top Gore and loincloths. Fun.

Have been playing hitman 3 lately - there's a rave level, which is probably the least cringe replica of a rave I have ever seen
The game is really funny

I haven't got 3, I'll wait for it to go on sale, but that underground Berlin level looked jokes! Was pretty on point timing for a level like that to come out tbh
Re: What video games are you folks playing?
Haha yeah - I think it was create digital music that even had an article about the level (closest thing to a rave during the pandemic)

Re: What video games are you folks playing?
I got about 229 hours done on Cyberpunk 2077 (maxed out but main story line not yet completed), then I did some Blair Witch but got stuck on that one.
Now I'm doing A Plague Tale: Innocence which is great on story and characters, but it has this "die-repeatedly-until-you-figure-it-out" gameplay which I'm not a fan of.

I was just playing Seven: Days Gone By.
A sort of post apocalyptic Cyberpunk sandbox in isometric perspective.
I made it about half way through the game but I found it a drudgery and uninstalled. The mechanics of it are just annoying.
Now playing Ace Combat 7, which is a lot of fun.

Ace combat is a fine decision
More fire e emblem for me. I think its The most difficult game ive ever played.
A remake of the first fire emblem in a japanese to english translation for the snes.
Absolutely love it so far. With the crt-easymode shader in retroarch i get a good old-school picture on my macbook

Currently playing the Hitman reboot trilogy. First one was fun but too repetitive. Second one was much better. Third one is sublime. Best mission so far is in a club modeled after Berghain where, among other things, you can subdue and impersonate the DJ.

Been playing my Quest 2 mostly.
Thrill of the fight - boxing simulator, mostly for fitness, but it`s very realistic and I`m getting my fighting chops back.
Cosmodread, a procedurally generated cosmic spaceship horror FPS. It`s fun, and genuinely a little bit scary.
Blade and Sworcery - A procedurally generated Sword and Sworcery dungeon exploration game where you can do unspeakably horrible things to people. VR is going to get me in hell.
