I'm probably one of the last people to discover it on Subsekt but this really wowed me, especially considering how old it is.

There's a wave of producers in copenhagen which merged out of somewhere in the middle between the noise scene, the free jazz scene and the techno scene. I haven't really made up my mind what I think of their sound, but it's very melancholic, which I like a lot. However, when I heard this track by Schacke (one of the active producers/DJ/I-guess-they-do-more) I really thought they managed to do something, which made sense sonically. I was very wowed :)

This one is an absolute stunner, IMO. Beautiful house/techno track that captures the feeling of yesteryear.

Man... those tracks like that have made me leave a few parties actually. Not in a good way though :geek:

A lot of the underground parties here in Stockholm play exactly that. Hate it. Sorry mate

this one is the latest banger I found:

What are the odds... I just stumbled upon that track today while browsing the internets... Sure do wish I had turntables...

Maybe we have that mutual friend on FB because that's how I've discovered it today. I've asked for the digital let's see if he'll send it to me.

I doubt that we do. I'm from sweden you know... And I found it through my own way of ploughing through massive amounts of music.

You guys have any good strategy to automatically exclusively finding tracks you like when you on the hunt?

So that's why they have no sense of rhythm..

Bought it a few days after it came out here in copenhagen, and it was the last copy... I didn't know it was that big - but it's a really atmospheric record (...and if I should add some negativity to it, I also think at times it ends up being a bit too minimalistic in the compositions - but it works really well when it's part of a mix)

Seriously to me it's straight up headbanger music. How do you even dance to that? Even Gabber was more funky.
