digestion starts in your mouth. saliva. chewing signals chemical production in your intestines. focus on eating. the taoists say 'chew your water and drink your food'.
having said that, don't drink while eating. you wash away the saliva your mind has released in preparation for eating.
don't mix acid with non-acidic. this blend confuses your stomach.

Been eating a lot lighter evening meals which I guess is a start but what happens between 6am and 7pm is anyone's guess. When not on roads I still have a little office job as well and they bloody feed me as well!! Will power I do not have!!
I hate working on the go. I have done at times in my job and its awful. Eating on trains or planea, buying from stations, eating pub or hotel food. General food body clock out of sync. I usually feel wrecked after those periods with a need to get back to home cooking

I think it's really easy to stay healty and mainly it depends on food. I have a semi vegan diet and stick to lots of raw vegetables and fruits. but ppl of course veggie and fruits have to be seasonal otherwise it's the same shit as processed food. buy the vegetables at the farmer market and drink lots of water.
plus use the bike to move around and that's basically it.
we have to know how the food gets in our plates so to make right decisions for our health and especially the enviromet so there are lots of docs and books to read that will change your way of eating and living.
Of course having a cooking habit will help because eating out a lot it's obviously bad for your health.
