i can hear up to 15 pretty easily with at a fairly quiet volume.

i made a set of sines once to test my hearing and if i remember correctly i could hear higher than 15 but i was turning it up ridiculously loud and the air pressure generated by my monitors was insane for such quiet noises. its strange seeing the meter on your mixer pumping and feeling air pressure but hearing hardly anything.

I can hear it till 14khz at low volume. At the higher frequencies I can hear a crackle at the start & the end at the same volume, if I raise my volume I can hear up to 17khz. Guess my ears aren't that bad after all my walkman years :)

I still hear up to 20k

I`m so glad I gave up Djing all those years ago, I have protected my hearing, wear plugs at gigs, play live, so I don`t need headphones.

I can hear it until 20khz but I dont know if its the tone or the starting and stopping of the sound, my ears give me alot of trouble though from using headphones, hats and all other high end stuff cuts through my eardrum and it takes a few weeks to recover, im at the end of a cycle at the moment, as far as i know its fancier headphones that do it, I use beyerdynamics dt880pro and im sure its them. Probably shouldnt have sold my momitors :/

This is why I use in ear monitors, with the sound isolation and drivers moving the air within your ear canal, you end up using much lower spl levels
