Re: What's your interface?
I'm using an m-audio fasttrack which I bought since I started messing around.
Would like to get a new one with some more options, does anyone have any suggestions which one I could get?

Yeah that's a shame, apparently pc drivers are gash. Sad really, I have the onyx satellite, which is essentially the blackjack with more features, and it is rock solid. Been all around the world with me, countless gigs, never failed.Faust wrote:I have the blackjack. The drivers for it on the PC are beyond woeful, very frustrating - with audio dropping out, random crackling, odd moments where audio drops in pitch and tempo (sloooow moooootion).
On the Mac it runs like a dream.
It's built like a brick so well able for traveling/gigging or assaulting and maiming.

+1 for the 828 mk2 I sold mine as at the time they didn't have drivers that supported vista, but it was a really nice bit of kit.ste wrote:have an old motu 828 mk2 in studio and use a motu ultralite mk3 with laptop actually. but i want to sell the ultralite to get an uad apollo soon. anyone heared the soundquality of the apollo with his own ears yet?

Re: What's your interface?
how is the motu ultralite mk3? I've been thinking to get one those..
Re: What's your interface?
i run the motu 828 mk2 on a win vista 64bit pc. i always hear the vista 64 is literally the worst audio os but fo me it runs rock solid and i never change a winning team.
the ultralite is nice aswell. i've bought it for my liveact and it works great. i route 3 stereo busses and 1 mono channels out of the box and through my hardware effects. the dsp processed compressor with motu works great for this purpose. sound quality is great for a small and pricey piece of kit. i really love it but still i want to have uad for live use so i want an apollo soon.
