The Shape Of Things That Hum _ Old Ch4 Documentary Series

Post by Críoch »

I dont think I've ever seen this series posted anywhere. And if I have, I've certainly never watched them. Oh dear, I'm a bad human.

Just watched a very entertaining one on the Yamaha DX7.

Plenty more.. about the 808 / 303 / Akai Sampler etc..

Short enough. Worth the watch if you want to pass some time :D

I've seen a couple of them. Added the video with all the episodes to my 'To Watch' list.

I sampled the woman narrator on the 303 one years ago for a track. Interesting little vids for sure.
Thank you for the laughs, debate, new music found, production tips etc etc over the years. I wish Subsekt and everyone all the best for the future. Wiu.

Never heard of this series before, watched the one about the Yammy DX 7. Funny to hear that on the TV program top of the pops they had one in the prop cupboard, hence why so many bands that appeared on the program were seen playing one.
