Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
Last one.. the other week. Saw Oscar Mulero in Limerick.
Was fucking class. Before that it had been about 3years since I'd last been out. Log overdue I'll tell ya!
One thing I learned from it was that you have to go out to clubs to be able to come back & put the music you produce into context. Hearing tunes on a massive system makes your ears come alive. Apart from track structure and anything else, its so much easier to divide up where the top/middle/bottom when its that loud - and realise what should go where.
I'd a great time AND I learned something lol
At one point one of the residents, Ruan.. came out onto the floor to have a listen. I thought to myself that he must have been playing one of his own tracks & was checking it out. Lucky Bastard!

Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
Most recently I saw Monolake playing Ghosts live, which was.....ok.
And Peverelist, who was superb, had me groovin around like mad, and inspired me to produce as soon as I got home (at 6 in the morning)

Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
Hi there,
Last night I saw, Virgil Enzinger, Michael Schwarz, Der Totmacher, Sorgenkint, Men vs. Machine and Björn Torwellen in Cologne! (forbidden city)
Good event with a sound system what was really ok.
Surprise of the evening(for me) was Björn Torwellen/resident. He made the best set of the whole evening which made my throw my fist in the air!
Enzinger lost himself between his 4 dex so it sounded kinda confused.
Totmacher was amazing. I guess he seriously tried to empty the floor. He ended up in almost breakcore terror of the boring kind.

Braved the St Pat's day shitshow and skipped Magda to see Jus-Ed last night; he got off to a rough start, but after that he really ran with it. Very glad I left the house, despite the drunk idiots.
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
Really? Cuz I could've swore I saw you at Podval on Sunday;)qbot wrote:Braved the St Pat's day shitshow and skipped Magda to see Jus-Ed last night; he got off to a rough start, but after that he really ran with it. Very glad I left the house, despite the drunk idiots.
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
podval was Sunday; Jus-Ed was Saturday.
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
I meant you were at Podval therefore Jus-Ed was not the last DJ you saw. I'll shut up now.
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
Chris Liberator, I really enjoyed his set but my friends hated it haha
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
High Contrast and Netsky... for DnB it was pretty good. Wasn't sold out as dubstep.

Would have seen him & the other Liberators & DAVE back in the day in Dublin. Lots of times.

Mr. Phase and the week before Surgeon, Regis, Paul Damage @ House Of God.
Re: Who was the last DJ you saw
An Cruisin Lan in cork, odd crowd there since its kind of a metal/biker bar. Nice turnout as though.ICN wrote:Where was that Declan?Declan wrote:Chris Liberator, I really enjoyed his set but my friends hated it haha
