Silent Servant – aka John Juan Mendez – has passed away. The Sandwell District artist’s death was confirmed in an email sent to Resident Advisor by his management Triangle Agency. The cause of death has not yet been shared.

I read that three of them were found in a house in California, the other two being his girlfriend and his musical/business partner. Given their relatively young ages it would not be a surprise if drugs were involved.

Never liked Sandwell stuff but Juan was a decent person and going like this was tragic.

Fentanyl laced coke, him, his wife and a friend all dead.
More than likely other people from the event also died.
Apparently the club they were at is essentially run by dealers who use the event as a front to sell their shit.

Fucking fentanyl is a plague in the states.
Thank fuck I don't do coke.
