Funny how yer paths crossed before now, or crossed again, I should say ..

It was really odd mate.

Missus booked a rated hair and makeup artist from cornwall to do her wedding day glow up. She used to live in the same part of north london as us, Bounds Green.
Our photographer came from where we live now in Becontree, East London.
The partner of the very Cornish farmer who owned the converter barn we stayed in, was from Wood Green, where we also lived, in North London.
We didn`t deal with that many Cornish people.
Bloke of the Cave couple worked in Romford, where the Black Box main warehouse where I worked was, and is also just up the road from where I live now, and he lived in shepherds bush, near where my missus lived, when she lived in shepherds bush.
Fucking Londoners everywhere. It shouldn't be allowed.

With my woman 10 years now or so and we have a little girl in tow. She has told me she's not doing marriage which I'm ok with (but I don't really believe her!) I'm happy, we have our little one, that's marriage in my book ..

Same situation for me, but it's 20 years (!) as of last weekend. Though I'm the one who didn't want to marry. My partner would have I think, but isn't bothered that we didn't.

Ive nothing against people who want to marry, especially if they put some thought into it as Steve chose to do.

But how you *act* every day in your relationship is what creates a commitment, a bond and a partnership - it has nothing to do with legal status or titles.

Agree with you. Know a guy who got married and then they split within 3 months. Said the girl he was with turned into a total nut job after the wedding.
It was quite funny as he has history himself so there's prob more to it than his story...
