Well it's lovely to see that the board is back and alive, but it just hit me that have we all been checking in, without posting something, since it got revived this quick? I know I have had eyes on the site at least a couple of times a week, but I've probably just been bad at contributing - maybe we just needed a new topic to discuss (which apparently was home maintenance )

I have been pretty busy submitting my master thesis, so I only had time to lurk for past months since I am prone to binge music stuff after subsekt sessions and then nothing gets written Will finish soon though!

Life has just got in the way of things lately. Had covid recently. Work has been mad the last few months as someone left and wasn't replaced. Means more working away from home etc. And generally just knackered by the end of the week. I just want to switch off and not do anything at the weekends etc. No music, no exercise.

But I dawned on me I haven't checked in recently. So here I am.

But that sounds rough! My girlfriend is having a similar experience at her job, and it's taking its toll having to fill in on someone who haven't been replaced!

in the lunch break at work or so

diddent really contribute much either, lots of other things going on in life atm, lots of work, family, were going to move to a new house, need to renovate there etc

Almost the opposite in terms of home improvement. Getting tradesmen to actually show up has been a huge issue.

Im writing about some crazy russian dudes that were involved with avant-garde art and technology in 1900-1930. Hard civil war times but those dudes has some great ideas about music and sound and some legendary performances were performed. Avraamov (total nutcase but a visionary) for example organized symphony of the sirens performance during which they turned the whole city of Baku in a giant instrument, car horns, factory work noises and sirens, artillery stuff, russian war fleet participated...

I feel a little disappointed that that doesn't happen anymore thanks capitalism.
