I'm looking for live sets/acts/pa in video, mp3, soundcloud, whatever format as i'm having a hard time finding some.

Take a look in the last couple live pa threads. I posted lots of live pa vids. Be sure to skip the last 5 minutes tho. That's where the artist proceeds to jerk off and blow a big load all over the instrument and camera cause its just fetishization. Seems weird to me to hate somebody because they own instruments...

dosent need to be, actually i<d love to see people playing with midi controllers because that's what i'll end up using myself.

Cassegrain and Function both did pretty good ones on Boiler Room yesterday.
Although both weren't that live, think it was clip launching, but Function played some 909 over it which
worked out great. Heard him do the same thing in April.

I really liked Darkside and Juju & Jordash. Both aren't techno, but they are definitely worth checking.
Kink does a good one, but I'm not really a fan of his tracks, pretty cool live though.

Oh and I really liked Stanislav Tolkachev as well, too bad I was one of the few.. he had to compete
with the DTM guys

Cassgrain from boiler room? Clip lauching is allright.

I mean, what i would do if i had to play an hour of stuff is that i would have lots of clips and know precisely what could fit with what and when and how.

Then each channels would have a few chains of effects assigned to them.
I would have a few sends too.
Perphaps 1-2 channels of actual synths with clips and program changes etc.

There is a total lack of tutorial of screencast of people playing live/cli launching/wtv you name it on youtube. Unless i<v been very blind all that time. I'll apreciate any help!

I like to keep things in the box mostly. Perhaps one day i'll expect with a little mixer a one or two synthe and/or effects just for fun, but meh.

Relatively original if difficult material.

The penis, by the way, can be synced to midi, and he can also control it via the gyro controls on the microphone.

Makes such a change from yet another xox drums and arpeggio set.

Bit of a derail, but I find it, weird? amusing? that William Bennett is now more popular and acclaimed than he has ever been, and yet he is making his safest, most accessible and least challenging work of his career.
Some part of me is disappointed.

Probably too much drone for most people. Main room was packed during DTM and Zadig and he played
the small stage at the same time.

what else you gonna do for the sake originality. scary, lovely, big, small, crooked, straight, cool, nerdy, clever, thick, dark, bright. all done. but honesty. ah, now there's something. as a punter that was interesting, maybe not fun. if i'm going to pay for techno night out it'll most likely be because i also want to get smashed. that's the last thing i'd want to see in that state or not in that state. the only other way you'll get me out for a techno night is as a performer. as a performer i'd say that was pretty fun and funny.

Detroit Grand Pubahs did this type of schtick 10 years ago and much better. Girl were taking of their tops and shaking their tits and ass because Paris the Black Fu told them too.

Yeah, it's all 30 minute techno live sets from Finnish artists and groups. I'm particularly looking forward to hearing my stuff on a proper PA. It's not my first live gig, but definitely the one with the highest profile. Loads of people, and the PA is very good.
