I'm very intensely looking forward to the Electro-Soma repress and especially the supplemental Electro-Soma II. The original colour vinyl versions of the AI albums disappointingly deteriorated very rapidly, adding noise, crackling and other physical artefacts (especially the silver and bronze pressings of Autechre's Incunabula and Black Dog Productions' Bytes) making the records well nigh unplayable (or an exercise in irritation). although not as catastrophic as Massive Attack's Burial remixes by TVF. I'm expecting improvement.

(This summer's worst thunderstorm just hit Helsinki, horizontal rain, rapidly repeating silent lightning, achromatic greyness. Lovely.)

Watching the rerun of yesterday's Vuelta mountain stage and enjoying Deep Space Helsinki on Basso, decent weekly radio show.

Cycling and techno go neatly together.

No. Because he's a Drumcode affiliate. You know, subsekt is the anti-thesis of Drumcode techno. 8-)

Haven't researched Paganini enough to make a full judgement but that track just makes me sigh...

What else can you expect from drumcode aye

well, maybe you had your first anal experience while this track was playing ??
or you were doing some fancy water sports and all of a sudden, someone put on Paganini...

I don't know, surely there must be some way to remember this,
just not an obvious one... ;)

Been listening a lot Punk/Oi!/Hardcore classics from my youth days recently.

I mean, BLOOD FOR BLOOD's "Outlaw Anthems" is still the most hateful record i've ever heard. And i mean REAL hate of human mankind because of their fucked up, hopeless white trash trailerpark existence in Boston's suburbs. It's so hateful, it gives me shivers everytime. Listen to this Black Metal Posers, this is despair, hate and a "fuck it all" attitude at its best. And the best part is, they're catchy as fuck....
Saw them live twice and it was the maddest moshpit i've ever witnessed. Never saw so many broken bones, bloody noses and fucked-up people again. Ahhhh i love some good ol' B4B !!!!

Oh, and been digging this gem out of my vinyl crates. One of the most influential but underrated MetalHardcore bands ever imo

Richard Hell !!!!!
