I'm really surprised Soundcloud haven't set up a sell your music service yet to take some of Bandcamps thunder.

This is exactly what I'm saying. Why? It seems all they would need to do is use their existing model and charge a small fee per transaction.

Not disagreeing, but it just seems a no brainer to me. They create a new revenue stream for very little effort. They already store the tracks and have discoverability. I'd happily buy from there if it gave the same cut to the artist as BC.

Rap/hip-hop new wave scene is going strong on SoundCloud. My fellow rapping mates are into the whole mixtape reissue and soundcloud is finally available without much hassle as a mobile app too. I mean I had the app, but for some reason it never worked as expected before
