Just remember that this is from Korg, who lit up the tubes in the EMX and ESX with orange LEDs

These are real chips developed by another company owned by Korg.
They have already made preamps and guitar amps with them, and you can buy or make a kit of an overdrive pedal using them.
In fact you can buy them from RS for 26 quid each and use them in your own circuits.
These are real.
But yeah, led bulbs and blah.
