Italio De Angelis Eventide presets (FX inspiration)

Post by dubdub »

http://www.italodeangelis.com/it/eventi ... her_stuff/

I stumbled upon this dudes site a while ago, he's a total FX god. He makes preset libraries for mostly old digital rackmount processors. Most of us here probably don't own any old Eventide or Lexicon hardware but the sound clips on his site are great to just listen to and get inspired by. There's information for every patch, I've been having fun trying to re-create some of those more crazy Orville patches and I've already come up with some cool new FX routing ideas for my own tracks. Cool site if you wanna spend same time zoning out to endless FX chains.

there's this preset on my H8000 called "Italo's room" (or something similar),
it's a bit like their famous "Black Hole" preset.
and it's as if you get instant deep techno when you run stuff through it...
I always figured it was named like that because there's lots of deep techno coming from Italian producers,
now I know better.

thx for that interesting link. :)

I actually bought their native XI bundle yesterday, even though I'm broke as fuck,
just because they offered me a great price since I bought a few of their plugins earlier.
I know I have their ultimate flagship in HW version, and I doubt I'll ever sell it since it's still the only one offering me so many multi-FX in a dual engine machine,
but yeah, having the ease of use that comes with a SW plugin...
I just couldn't resist...

Eventide, the Rolls Royce of FX...

and they're fucking very low on the CPU as well !! :)

I don't think it'll happen in the forseeable future but I wish they'd just stop beating around the bush and give us a full port of some of the older HW Eventides (full H3000 and Orville would be sweeeet) :)

yeah, they do offer an H3000 plugin, but it only has like 400 presets, and though it's quite awesome
(only used it one afternoon till now though, but I had my H8000 for about 6 years now),
it comes nowhere close to my HW unit.

The H3000 factory plugin actually only covers a single algorithm from the H3000 (mod factory), although that algorithm is quite powerful to be fair.
