I really like Surgeon's philosophy on restricting his gear and learning how to explore the possibilities within it. I also like that he obviously hasn't become just a euronerd, he barely knows what modules he has himself - very focused on how the gear can serve his creativity and music.

I think it's great that a seasoned pro is asking the new and younger generation for advice on techniques etc. I think that is class.

I did like that part, too. Was refreshing to see a bit of a "this is what I do, how I do it, and how would you approach this yourself?" type of conversation/discussion on the whole concept, rather than a straightforward "This is how it's setup, I'm not changing it, and this is how you should all do it" type angle

Was surprised to hear how he said he doesnt really use any modular in the studio..

hmm he said he uses it in the studio for making raw elements and then arranges them in computer. it's the last question asked.
