I've been making music my whole life, and electronic music since the mid-90s. But I sort of fell off the wagon in the early 00s and only got back into it in fits and spurts. I had a lot of other shit going on in my life and was also kind of lazy. In 2014 I started getting really serious about producing again, and this time was also much more systematic--seeking out people who knew more than me and really listening carefully.

Since I joined subsekt, I've learned so much from all you guys. Especially the pros, like Lost, Matthias--but also all you aspiring and new producers as well. I've listened to how my productions have improved over the past 2 years, and I credit this place as a big part of why that happened.

So thanks everyone--it's much appreciated.

I've been learning a lot everyday here too, just by reading and re-reading old and current posts. It's just amazing how this people took their time to share their knowledge with other people around the world. I hope someday to gather enough wisdom and experience to share as well. This is fucking raw, love it.

We are lucky to have such great contributions to this forum. We've been running it for a while now and I'm still learning. We initially set this up as we didn't feel we were being fully represented (on the previous forum where we originally met) and for it to become the best resource for our kind of music is a great thing. Long may it continue.

Same here. The last time i had this is like 15 years ago, when the internet started and we had a massive graffiti forum. This was real back then, but capitalism and sellout eats every underground. Happy to see that something is alive here. Great community!

Yep, this is a fantastic spot in the interweb. I don't post here as often as I probably should but I visit often and I always find some interesting topics to read. Plus I have learnt loads of technical stuff from this forum.

I usually save the gushing thanks for around x-mas time when the continuous supply of rum makes me a little 'tired and emotional'.

But yeah, this place rules.

Thanks to all that have helped me with my tracks, and the pro's Mattias and Steve who have made people on here miles better for essentially working for free.
