I was recently looking for some new drum machine samples to process that aren't XoX and I came across this site again - http://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php and realized again how many fucking drum machines there are out there. Do you guys have any favorites for samples that aren't Roland?

I'm using some from Linns. Sounds from Yamaha CR78 is something I use quite a lot. Same with Oberheim DMX

I don't know about samples but there are a few more recent drum machines that interest me

MAM/now rereleased Mode Machines ADX1
The recent Pearl Syncussion SY1 clone
AVP MAD5
More common now but the vermona DRM1 still interests me

I recently got an acidlab drumatix- it's a 606 clone with a couple 808 bits but all the 606 parameters are tweakable unlike the original so it's a little more interesting

there's also weird stuff like the old synsonics drum brains and similar

there are also a couple interesting soviet drum machines

Vermona DRM is nice for metallic sounds! I sold my unit because of the (to) big range on the tune knobs.
A 1 mm turn can make a huge difference when searching for the sweet spots.
