plug-in systemwide use (sonarworks systemwide workaround)

this is something that I think will be useful to some folks. Made a search and I didn t saw something relevant

we all use plug ins inside our daws but i was looking for a way so I can put my favourite plug ins into use
systemwide, meaning the output of my mac so I can process or monitor the sound coming from internet, itunes player or a movie player.
I ve been using sonarworks reference 3 for some time now as studio correction and I was looking for a way so I can apply the correction basically
whenever I hear my exported tracks without the use of a DAW.
sonarworks is offering a solution to this. the sonarworks reference systemwide plugin which is basically the same thing but it reads the soundcards
that is active each time and you can apply the correction through a small icon that runs at the top of the screen. The price being I think at 99 euros.

But.. using this http://www.niallmoody.com/apps/pedalboard2 it can provide a great workaround and much more versatility to satisfy whatever requirements
you have from your audio. it s vst and au and if you can stand the fact that you need to launch it every time then this thing is pretty handful.
Key Features:
Modular patching.
All plugin parameters can be manipulated in real time via MIDI CCs or Open Sound Control messages.
Any number of patches can be queued up and rapidly switched.
long story short you get a GUI with an in and out and in between you can throw all the plugins that already exist in your harddrive.
I m using it for applying the correction systemwide and to measure monitor the audio like loudness, stereo image.
of course you can use it for a live performance too!
a very custom approach for custom needs.
I think this would be a good add to anyone that doesn t use it already.
give it a try and if anyone want any help using it I ll be happy to do it.
