Harrison Mix Bus
Re: Harrison Mix Bus
Alright. Not to untechno this too much, but what amp are you running your 7 string through. I always found my 7th string turned quite muddy/undedfined through stuff I've used, although this was when I was trying to use it for not doom metal stuff, so I kept loads of the treble and mids in there.Lost to the Void wrote:I've not used it yet.
However I just took delivery of a lovely new 7 string guitar, so I will be starting my new Doom metal ep this week and will be mixing the while thing down with Harrison. So once that's finished I'll have a good report.
cheers.

Re: Harrison Mix Bus
I'm using it with a custom amp I made in BIAS amp and running a dual amp setup via BIAS FX.
Sounds awesome.

Heyy Void, nice to hear that u liked it.
Do you think its a good improvement by doing the summing in mixbus instead of ableton? Thinking about purchase this one for summing, also i heard somewhere that mixbus tape saturation is very nice.

As I said, I have not used it yet.
I'm not so much bothered by the summing as the entire process of mixing through Harrison console emulation.
If just for summing I don't actually see the point.
