Quick sampling question
Quick sampling question
Good day gentlemen, and stace:)
In ableton, ive been using one the packs for quite some months now. The samples have embedded them selves quite a bit in my music. I really like them.
The oher day i wanted to load them in some hardware and realized they where all write protected. I searched the net to find if i could somehow undo this as i paid for the pack and would like full controll over the samples.
However, the only way i'll be able to pull it off is to resample them.
There are around 300 files containing 4-10 samples a file. Is there any sampler our there that can help me slice this huge chunk of audio? Also, how would you go about it in ableton, any quicker methods than dragging them all into individual audio tracks, only to export the individual tracks later?
Thanks!!

Re: Quick sampling question
The only thing I can think of is Recycle. Exporting to wav files is something it does besides rex files, there's still some manual 'labour' in regard to the positioning of markers but it's pretty quick to zoom along, drop a marker, zoom along, drop a marker etc and hit export slices as wav.
