Would anybody be interested in Interview's with techno producers?

Post by Markus Wolf »

Im just trying to guage interest on this. Anyone interested in these? I was thinking of doing a couple if the Lords of the boards are willing to post it? I know we used to have a section that I read some time back. Im not sure if its being updated anymore. Let me know I would be interested in doing a couple if they could get posted.

We can put up a sticky in the production section, so yeah, that would be cool.
Audio, video or text?
Just avoid the usual interview questions, which are always the same. And maybe not the same people who always get interviewed.
No one needs another Jeff Mills or Surgeon interview.

Before this fucking apocalypse hit I was going to do some in-studio interviews with various people.
If things return to normal I`ll do it.
Rather than just the usual questions, I want to pick apart production methods, philosophy, artistic stuff.

I think it would be great.

I also agree to avoid the usual questions - I guess as an audience we would be interested more in-depth than a lot of interviews go.

A little OT but do any of the mods know where I can find Gerard Hanson (ERP/Convextion) subsekt interview?

BTW I did reach out to 1 well known producer and he politely said he is not doing interviews ATM.

I saw on the interwebs that in 2012 he did an interview and a podcast for subsekt. It shows in google searches. I cant find any interviews with Gerard Hanson. Im hoping one of the mods can dig it up from some deep archive....

I can remember the podcast, it was a massive hit. RA even picked up on it (lol) but I dont remember if there was an interview on that one, would have to ask croich as he would of done it.

I`m super happy for Wolfie to do interviews, would be awesome, he can have his own section to do it, all good. My only point is for it not to be the same as all the other online interviews. Approach things from a different angle, as the interview-o-sphere is saturated.

Is that better?
