Logarithmic gain
Anyone know of any vst faders that use a logarithmic curve?
Re: Logarithmic gain
Got this http://www.cerberusaudio.com/Software/Products/Volt/ for free a while back in some giveaway, not really all that expensive though. I think airwindows makes one as well, remember a friend used it when AW was still mac only. Might also be set free now, so worth investigating.
how far do you want to go

Re: Logarithmic gain
I don't want to open a new topic, so just asking here:
Recently, we had a chat at the subsekt chat about volume fader / utlity in ableton, regarding automation, different curves and so on.
Yesterday I started a utility in Max 4 Live, currently it only changes volume between 0 - -inf like a volume fader on a channel.
I am thinking about adding different curve characters to it, changeable range, mono option, and anything coming to my mind and could be related to such a utility device.
If anyone using Ableton and would like to have any option added to this utility device, please tell me! I am open for suggestions, and of course will share the device with you!

Re: Logarithmic gain
Definitely different curves. More detail as you get closer to 0 is absolutely essential.
