Recorded automation Ableton

Hey guys, i hope you are all ok.
I have here a big problem yesterday i recorded some automations on ableton,then when i exported i noticed that the sound was like default always the same sound,then i got back to ableton and when i press play the back to arrangement button or option as you want was red,then when i shut it off the button turned on again, i really dont know if its a bug or something i hope you all can help me

Has it overdubbed & wiped all your automation? or is it still there?

sometimes controllers bug out and send messages continuously, perhaps that's the cause?

no mate the automation is all there,but the back the arrangement doesnt turn off.
@lokua: i dont know mate,i dont use external controllers,its a vst so you know,and i made all the automations with the mouse recording them!!

So if you click the red 'back to arrangement' button, it stays red?

it turns grey but 2 seconds later it turns red again :s

sounds like what lokua said, controller is mapped to a parameter in your project and sending out messages when it shouldn't.

disconnect your controller and try again to eliminate that possibility.

there are some wacky VSTs that continuously change the state of their parameters (especially some freeware ones) which can lead to this happening

(arcdev echotank xl is one)

maybe try to turn off plugins to see if one of them is doing that?

If you automate something , change parameters in automation lines, not in devices.

Whenever I open Sylenth, the phase knob on Osc 2 is always twisting. I have to go into the clip envelope to delete the automation. Suppose it happens. Strange as fuck though.

If you import some of / all the channels into a new project.. just to test - does it still happen?

When I used Logic.. I'd have to import all channels into a new project occasionally cos the old one would get corrupt. Pain in the hole - but it was a workaround.

hmm i dont know i dont have any controller mapped i just use the mouse and keyboard so...

I think its a bug had this happen myself only once, had no choice but to bounce as audio

yeah i think its a bug too,but now i cant bounce it as audio because the back to arrangement button dont let me! :s

no that doesnt work but,its solved, i got a lower version of the vst and its working but thanks for all the help you gave me
