A massive mistake... (But I've sworn not to talk about that in detail on the net in public.)
So I guess you never really know how things turn out when you meet someone in real life.
Would you describe this person as "involved in techno?"

well, he prouds himself he makes electronic music pretty much every day.
I wouldn't really call it techno, but then he lives on the other side of the Atlantic, in a country where the electronic music scene is almost non-existant.
I met him on a different forum, and left him the forum when he returned back home.

There were many reasons his stay turned out to be horrible,
and I could talk for ages about all the stuff he did or didn't do, (and he could probably just do the same with his version of the story)
but like I said : I don't want to do that in public somewhere.
In the end, it was just that him and me could never match as persons.
And that was a thing which became very obvious in real life,
almost from the start, but which was never obvious through 10 years of internet contact.
I guess you just never know.

that's the same guy that once made a superb looking controller for the impOSCar.
Wonderful VST, and that conroller looked utterly fabulous...
Yeah that guy really goes all in with his controllers, most of them costing the same or just a little less then fully functional hardware synths :D

tenga wrote:its been a fun hour with the juno...

so far i have:
- sync the arpegiator to the roland TR-8 (works like a charm)
- load factory samples by tape wav files
- go crazy !!!

what would be a cool stand for the juno + TR-8 + a midi synth ?
tricks and advices are welcome with open arms !!
God damn that's a pristine looking unit. Well scored.

I'll always have a soft spot for the 60. You can hear it on a lot of Dozzy's older tracks and it sounds sublime:

I personally think we should all get together, hire a venue and hold our own private party.

you think it takes me a long time or a search function to find a beer ? :D

in all honesty, I would find a party with all of you simply too much at once.
Meeting 1 or 2 of you at the same time is probably more than enough.

no offence, but why exactly is it that you bought the same synth again,
just a few weeks after you bought the first ?

I mean, what possible advantage are you hoping to reach with that ?
